Online B reflection

The reason why we take this class is because computers are our future and we need to learn about them because most likely we will have a job where we use a computer. Technology is important because it helps make our life’s easier, it helps to advance our knowledge about many things. Technology has improved very much over the last 5 years and it has made our lives much easier and more fun. Technology will change very much in the next 5 years and it will improve our life’s.

The type of technology we use in school for our work is computers and machines like welders or band saws or lathes among other things. The technology I use for personal use is computers, cell phones, iPods, Ipads, and other things.

I might use some of the things from online b for my job or for school and college or just for fun. The tool I think will be the most practical for lifelong learning is probably advanced internet searching. Some of the tools that I probably will never use again is wikis or digital storytelling and screencasting. My favorite tool that we used is probably digital storytelling, it was really fun to do and kind of easy. My least favorite tool that we used was screencasting, it wasn’t really fun and took a long time.

Screencast—Blog Post
Create a new post on your blog. In the post, I want you to describe, in your own words, what a screecast is. What did you like/dislike about creating one? How could this be helpful to you? Who do you think it would be most helpful to?

A screencast is a recording on your computer, it was easy and fun, i could check out other peoples and see how to do something, somebody that needs to know how to do something.

Google docs and windows live is very similar but i like Google docs better.

Career Cluster

My top career was architecture and construction, i think that this career would be fun but i think that you would have to be really smart so i don't think its for me. Architecture and construction is careers in desgining, planning, managing, building, and maintaining the built environment. You have to have a good memory and smart with computers.

Review So Far

Google Docs is a thing that lets you save files on Google and other things. A wiki is a website that the user can change or modify there content. Assistive Technology is technology that assists people. Electronic Portfolios is a collection of electronic evidence assembled and managed by a user.
